Is it the time to reflect back on that happened last year? Or is it the time to look forward to what is going to happen this year?

Last year, I shifted my residence from Virginia to Philadelphia after a 3 month stop gap arrangement in Maryland .

Last year, I started working at FCCC. New projects, a new field and lots of new people.

Last year, I got used to living on my own after 25 years of sharing a house. Got back to the habit of public transportation as a means of getting to work and getting around.

Last year, I suffered a terrible and brutal winter in Philly.

Last year, I visited New Orleans and Chicago on conferences. Two amazing cities with totally different attitude to life and packed with things to do.

Last year, I met up with a few classmates after a long time: Kunal, Ashutosh ,Vidya and Aparna

Last year, I visited Yellowstone National Park and California on pleasure trips. Enjoyed the beautiful natural wonders at Yellowstone and the company of friends and relatives in California .

Last year, I started reading a genre of books that I had never really enjoyed before: Science Fiction. Ursula Leguin, Philip Dick and Isaac Asimov

Last Year, I decided to get married the next year.

This Year, I am getting married in May.

This Year I will visit India after a year and a half. Time to meet my mother and my sister and other assorted relatives..

This Year I will shift my residence back to Maryland . Back to old familiar surroundings .and goodbye to long distance relationships.

This Year I hope to have a small vacation in Europe .

This Year I hope to visit Boston and Florida ..

This Year I will study for the ABR exams.

This Year I will have a great New Year.
